I had a great stay at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel, with many highlights including the attentive staff and the comfortable rooms. However, I did notice some areas for improvement, like a few maintenance issues and the ongoing renovations that were a bit of a surprise. Overall, I would recommend it for its excellent service and amenities.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and clean, although I did notice some upkeep could be improved (like a lopsided toilet seat). Still, the bed was incredibly comfy, making it easy to enjoy a restful night.
Service
10.0
The staff were really attentive and friendly, providing excellent support throughout my stay. They even helped me efficiently resolve a small issue I encountered.
Location
9.0
The hotel is very conveniently located, with easy access to public transportation and major attractions. I found it great for exploring the city, just a short walk away from shopping and dining.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was delicious with an extensive choice of options, though I did encounter some overcooked items. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable, even if a bit on the pricier side.
Facilities
7.0
The leisure facilities were well-maintained, but I was disappointed by the ongoing renovations and lack of access to the pool during my visit.

6.2/10

My stay at Glasgow Marriott Hotel had its ups and downs. While the staff was friendly and provided good service, the facilities and room left much to be desired. The breakfast was a highlight, but the issues I faced with the leisure facilities and room cleanliness dampened the experience significantly.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious and clean, but it showed its age, with outdated fixtures and a noticeable lack of fridges. I even encountered cobwebs and dust in the corners, which was quite disappointing for a four-star hotel.
Service
5.0
The service from the staff was quite good overall. They were attentive and friendly, even though there were mix-ups regarding room details and charges that could have been handled better.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was convenient for accessing the city and nearby attractions, which I appreciated. It was just a short walk to the OVO Hydro, making it ideal for concert-goers.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was one of the best parts of my stay. There was a great selection of both hot and cold items, and the food quality was consistently commendable.
Facilities
5.0
The leisure facilities were a major letdown. The pool was nice, but the outdated changing rooms lacked essential amenities like baby changing facilities, and I found them to be unclean and poorly maintained.

6.6/10

My stay at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel was a mix of comfort and disappointment. While I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, especially during check-in, the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The rooms felt dated and in need of a thorough update, which was hard to overlook, especially with the issues related to cleanliness and amenities. However, the accessible location made it easy to explore the city.

Rooms
5.0
I found the room spacious, but it felt quite worn and tired. The absence of a mini fridge was unexpected for a hotel of this brand, and the overall cleanliness was lacking, with noticeable grime on surfaces.
Service
7.0
The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. Anna at the reception truly stood out, offering an excellent welcome that brightened my day. However, the service in the dining area didn’t reflect the same standards.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is a real advantage, being close to public transport and within easy reach of city attractions. It's ideal for a quick stay, but the hotel’s exterior could use a bit of care to match its prime location.
Dining
5.0
I was disappointed with the dining options. Though the menu had promise, the food quality did not meet expectations. My meal arrived cold and was not up to par for the prices charged.
Facilities
6.0
The leisure facilities, like the gym and pool, seemed to lack proper maintenance which was unfortunate. I did enjoy my massage at the spa, which was a bright spot during my stay.

5.6/10

I had a good stay at Glasgow Marriott Hotel, though I did encounter a few bumps along the way. The check-in process felt a bit off, and the hotel was unusually busy with a country music event happening. However, my room was nice and clean, and the staff were overall very helpful during my visit.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious, featuring a large, comfortable bed, and it was mostly clean, though I did notice some limescale in the bathroom handles.
Service
9.0
The staff was friendly and attentive. I was particularly impressed when they went the extra mile for a special occasion by providing lovely decorations and drinks in my room.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located just a short taxi ride from the city center, making it easy to explore Glasgow. However, the surrounding areas did look a bit rugged, with some unpleasant patches on the way into town.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the food in the hotel’s restaurant, although I found breakfast in-room to be lukewarm. The dinner menu could use more variety, but I found the overall dining experience satisfactory.
Facilities
6.0
The leisure facilities, especially the pool, were well-maintained and enjoyable. However, I did find the lack of air conditioning in my room a bit inconvenient given the warm weather.

5.4/10

I had a pretty decent stay at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel overall. The room was spacious and clean with great coffee and tea making facilities, which I loved. However, I did find some areas could use a little more attention, especially regarding the service at the bar restaurant during busy times. Plus, the Wi-Fi fees really rubbed me the wrong way. Still, the friendly staff and solid breakfast made up for a lot of it!

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and clean, with lovely tea-making facilities, which helped me feel at home. However, I did notice some issues with the bathroom like only one toilet roll provided initially, and the door was a bit tricky to lock. Overall, it was comfortable though.
Service
7.0
The staff were super attentive and friendly, definitely a highlight of my stay. They resolved issues fairly quickly, but during busy moments like breakfast, the service could get a bit hit or miss. Still, their willingness to help really stood out.
Location
8.0
The location is pretty convenient for accessing the city center and is close to public transportation, which was a major bonus for me. That said, I found some areas a bit isolated at night, so using a taxi service was my go-to plan after sunset.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was really tasty with plenty of options, both hot and cold. However, I ran into some delays at the Cast Iron Grill when I went for dinner, and the staff seemed overwhelmed, which was disappointing. I hope they could organize that better.
Facilities
8.0
Facilities like the swimming pool and gym were well-maintained, and I heard great things about the spa services too. It's nice that they have a gym and leisure amenities, making it a good spot for a longer stay.
